The Devola Volunteer Fire Department and water department personnel will be flushing hydrants in the Devola area the week of April 15. Residents could experience a sudden loss of pressure or discolored water. Flush taps until all air has escaped or the water has returned to its natural state.

Washington County Family & Children First’s Help Me Grow Early Intervention Program will sponsor a Community Baby Bash from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 4 at the K of C Hall, 312 Franklin St., Marietta. The event is free and will feature local vendors and community resources, car seat checks, mommy massages, story time corner, door prizes and food.

Pathway Community Church will hold an Easter Egg Drop at 11:30 a.m. April 21 at Marietta Middle School following the 10 a.m. Easter service. A helicopter will drop more than 10,000 candy-filled eggs for each age group and there will be both a girl and a boy’s bike giveaway. Barlow Presbyterian Church will hold a community luncheon from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The menu will feature meat loaf, scalloped potatoes, cheesy potatoes, vegetables, rolls and miscellaneous desserts. Barlow Presbyterian Church is located at Warrior Drive and Ohio 550.
