Ladies Civitan Style Show is coming soon

The Pioneer Ladies Civitan Style Show & Salad Supper will be held Oct. 15 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 308 Gilman St. Doors open at 5 p.m. The event will include fashions by CATO and Christopher and Banks, a purse auction by Williams Auctioneer, door prizes drawn all night and raffle tickets sold. Admission is $15.

Fall craft and vendor fair at Marietta church

Kingdom Creations will host a fall craft and vendor fair/quarter auction Oct. 19 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to raise funds for families in need during the holiday season. Vendor table spaces are rented one for $15, or two for $25. A quarter auction will run from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Vendors participating in the quarter auction must pay an extra $10 on top of the table space fee. Those interested may email Candace at cbowman1130@live.com. Payments may be sent to the Marietta Church of God at 501 Colegate Drive, Marietta.

POUND for Pink event will be held Oct. 19

The 4th Annual POUND for Pink Event during Breast Cancer Awareness Month will be held Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at Rockstar Wellness, located at 225 2nd Street in Marietta. POUND is a group fitness class designed for all ages and fitness levels and provides a positive and inspiring atmosphere. The cost is a donation with all proceeds going to the Strecker Cancer Center Breast Health Fund.

Fearing VFD will have annual turkey dinner

Fearing Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual turkey and ham dinner Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. at the fire house, located at 1975 Stanleyville Road, Whipple. The menu will include turkey or ham served with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, stuffing and noodles, a choice of dessert and coffee or tea. Admission is $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children.

Ghost hunt will be on Blennerhassett Island

Hidden Marietta will host “Island After Dark: An Overnight Ghost Hunt on Blennerhassett Island” on Oct. 19. The group will meet at Parkersburg Point Park at 4 p.m. and arrive at the island by 4:30 p.m. The island will be open to investigation the entire night, while the mansion will investigated in small groups during a set time. The event will conclude the following morning at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $129 per person. For more information, call 740-629-0033.
