Churchtown Busy Bunch 4-H Club

The Churchtown Busy Bunch 4-H Club met Jan. 13 at Napoli’s in Vincent. President Maddie Treadway called the meeting to order with nine members present. Collin Bauerbach led the U.S. pledge and Connor Tullius led the 4-H pledge.

Maddie Treadway read the secretary’s report. The minutes were approved as read. Richard Canterbury gave the treasurer’s report.

A health report was given by Ethan Brooker titled “The Value of Donating Blood” and the safety report was given by Collin Bauerbach titled “Why Do I Need to Rehydrate After I Exercise?”

Under advisor and committee announcements, camp counselor applications are now available. Ohio Teen Conference and 4-H Volunteers Conference will be March 9.

Under old business Maddie Treadway and Connor Tullius shared their 4-H County Award Night experience and honors. Joyce Kronberg reported on the Hervida 4-H Camp Dinner and Auction results for the items our club donated for the auction.

Under new business plans for the coming year was discussed.

After the meeting was adjourned; club members enjoyed pizza at Napoli’s and then traveled to Bird Arena in Athens for an afternoon of ice skating.

The next meeting will be Jan. 27 at St. John Senior Center.
