Local woman’s contributions to NSAL chapter recognized
The Ohio River Valley Chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters honored Rose Nardi, of Peoples Bank, at a luncheon in February in gratitude of her services.
Nardi has had a successful career in the world of finance and banking, having moved up from being an investment analyst at Peoples Bank to chief investment officer. In addition, Nardi has drawn on her expertise to teach finance and portfolio management to both bankers and college students. She has worked with the Ohio Bankers Association and others to play an important role in designing legislation which reshaped what was Ohio’s archaic laws governing portfolio management.
All of this requires much study and research and her success in this field of finance stems from her love of what she does “because of the intellectual challenge” it gives her.
For her valuable contributions to the well-being of both the regional chapter and the national organization, Nardi was presented a certificate of appreciation and a bouquet of flowers.
