Lowell Lively Lads and Lassies

The Lowell Lively Lads and Lassies met on March 10 at Pastime Lanes in Marietta. There was an evening of bowling and pizza. Pledges were led by Taylor Haines and Brady Dye. We shared our bowling score for roll call. We discussed selling desserts of at the March 22 fish fry at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Money from this fundraiser will go to the Lowell Food Pantry and the Washington County 4-H Endowment Fund. A report was given on our window display at D & L Barber Shop and our entry in the poster contest. We will be donating a bird feeder and supplies along with a wall hanging made by our advisor Charlotte Wagner to the 4-H Endowment Dinner Auction.

There was another meeting on March 24 at St. Johns Church in Lowell. Pledges were led by Haley Bonar and Hunter Rauch. For roll call middle names were shared. Officer Installation night was discussed and all other officers were installed. Our window display earned honorable mention and our poster ranked well. A few reminders were mentioned including turning in candy money and the April 6 Endowment Dinner. We also discussed upcoming important dates for our projects, July 1 is project judging. Refreshments were provided by Zach Washburn and Rheagan Rector. Our next meeting will be held April 7 at 6:30 p.m. at St Johns Church in Lowell.
