Williamstown library ready to celebrate
The Williamstown Public Library has planned special events the week of April 15 to 19 in celebration of National Library Week. All programs are free and the public is invited to attend.
The week’s schedule is as follows: Monday at 7 p.m., A.J. Hamler – Woodworking/Civil War; Tuesday at 7 p.m., Kitty Clark – Dulcimers; Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. – Library Scavenger Hunt for Kids K-6; Thursday at 7 p.m., Louise Zimmer – Ohio River Islands; Friday at 10:30 a.m. – Children’s Story Time with Miss Edie.
Libraries are an important part of any community. The Williamstown Library is a United Way funded agency and has many valuable services available such as computers and printers, copier, fax machine, free notary service, e-book downloads, DVDs and CDs, audio and large print books, and wireless internet. National Library Week is designed to encourage communities to familiarize themselves with their library and take advantage of all the library has to offer.
