Lindsey Spanner graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University on May 3, 2014. Spanner received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, in addition to a Linguistics minor, Writing certificate, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate. While at OU, Spanner was active as a student outreach coordinator at the Women’s Center, pronunciation tutor, learning community leader, and vice president of an academic organization, among other activities. This fall, Spanner will move to Washington, D.C., to begin graduate studies in global communication in the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.
She is the daughter of Jim and Andrea Spanner of Marietta.
