Career Center prom court

The Washington County Career Center is having its thirteenth annual prom on May 17 at the Knights of Columbus in Churchtown. The theme for this year is “Light Up the Night.” Students who attend the Career Center can attend proms at both their home school and their career and technical school.

The following candidates will have the chance to compete for the crown on prom night.

The 2014 Prom Queen candidates are:

Holly Becker is a senior from Warren and is the daughter of Brent and Becci Becker of Marietta, majoring in the Medical College Prep program; Jamie Davis is a senior from Marietta and is the daughter of Greg Davis and Diana Heiss, both of Marietta, majoring in the Computer Graphics program; Delaney Dominiak is a senior from Frontier and is the daughter of Keith and Mary Stephens of New Matamoras and Sam and Brooke Butler of New Matamoras, majoring in the Welding program; Dara Drayer is a senior from Fort Frye and is the daughter of Chris and Melisa Drayer of Beverly, majoring in the Medical College Prep program; and Jessica Flowers is a senior from Warren and is the daughter of Andy and Lisa Flowers of Little Hocking, majoring in the Medical College Prep program.

The 2014 Prom King candidates are:

Jordan K. Anderson is a senior from Fort Frye and is the son of Kevin and Carol Anderson of Beverly, majoring in the Landscape Construction & Turf Management program; Brennen Ferrell is a senior from Belpre and is the son of Mike Ferrell and Christy Elliott, both of Belpre, majoring in the Sports Medicine & Exercise Science program; Chandler Lang is a senior from Fort Frye and is the son of Pat and Amy Lang of Lowell, majoring in the Building Technology/Carpentry program; Kyle Lewis is a senior from Fort Frye and is the son of Chris and Karri Lewis of Beverly, majoring in the Auto Mechanics program; and Tyson Niceswanger is a senior from Fort Frye and is the son of Tim Niceswanger of Whipple and Randal and Richele Bradford of Beverly, majoring in the Building Technology/Carpentry program.
