WCCC prom royalty

The Washington County Career Center held its 13th annual prom on May 17 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Churchtown.

The prom, which had its theme “Light Up the Night” was attended by approximately 260 students along with chaperones and staff members.

Students crowned prom queen and king were Holly Becker of Warren High School, majoring in the Medical College Prep program and Jordan K. Anderson of Fort Frye High School, majoring in the Landscape Construction & Turf Management program. Prom princess and prince were Jamie Davis of Marietta High School, majoring in the Computer Graphics program and Kyle Lewis of Fort Frye High School, majoring in the Auto Mechanics program.

With the student council hosting the event, Career Center students have an opportunity to attend the Career Center prom as well as their home school prom.
