Massage Appointments: first, second and third Friday each month; call for appointment times and reservations.

Zumba Classes: 5:45 to 6:45 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday; $25 for six classes; Becky Lightfritz, ZIN Certified Instructor; open to the public; all ages.

Line Dance with Donnie Allen: everyone welcome, open to public; Day classes, Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m., $5 per class; evening classes, 5:30 to 6 p.m., Free Steps taught – 6 to 7 p.m., beginners $5, 7 to 8 p.m. – open dance.

Rhythm Moves: Monday 9:30 a.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m.; Dance moves to music: 45 minute class- $3 per class or 6 classes for $15.

Fun & Fit Exercise Class: 11:30 a.m. to noon, Monday, Wednesday, Fridays, geared to seniors 50+; fun fitness class using bands, weights, low impact aerobics set to lively music; $12 per month.

O’Neill Singers: This group of volunteers spread their cheerful voices to all area Senior living homes and practice at the O’Neill Center the first Wednesday and the last Wednesday each month. Please call for more information on becoming part of this community volunteer group.

Breakfast for Your Brain: 8 a.m., Aug. 1, 8, 15. This program is intended for active adults who wish to take part in a brain wellness program. Just as breakfast is important for your body, mind stimulation is important for your brain health. There is a great deal you can do to keep your brain and mind young. Each session will start off with a snack because sharing food with a group is a very good way to break down social barriers.

Honey Bees: 1 p.m., Aug. 18. Presented by Sam and Joyce Hammett, Members of Ohio State Beekeepers Association and owners of Anam-Cara Apiary. Are you, or someone you know, interested in becoming a beekeeper? Are you interested in knowing more about the art and science of honeybee keeping? Sam and Joyce will cover areas of honeybee keeping that include equipment, techniques, healthy life of a bee, challenges and extracting the honey. Call for seating

Ice Cream Social: 1 p.m., Aug. 25. An ice cream social is a sure way to cool everyone off. Just the thing for a hot summer day! O’Neill’s annual ice cream social will include the Country Pickers performing their own brand of country music. We will serve vanilla ice cream cones or sundaes with all the topping for $3 per person. What a great way to celebrate the end of summer.

2-1-1 Program, 12:30 p.m., Aug. 27; Diane Bruno, board member for the United Way of Washington County, will present and discuss the Washington County 2-1-1 Information & Referral system. Every hour of every day, hundreds of people need essential human services-residents are looking for housing, health, or utility assistance, food pantries, help for an aging parent, addiction prevention programs for their teenage children, support groups and ways of becoming part of their community. Dialing 2-1-1 will connect residents with available federal, state and county services…. with one phone call.

Blood sugar and Blood Pressure Screening: Screening is available the first Wednesday and Thursday of each month from 8:30 to 10 a.m. provided by Marietta City Health Department and Ohio Home Care of Belpre.

Blood Pressure Testing: Testing available from 10 a.m. to noon the first and third Monday of every month.

Bible Study Group: Group meets at 10 a.m. the second and fourth Tuesday each month. Everyone is welcome to join this group discussing books of the Bible.

Quilting Group: Group meets at 9:30 a.m. every second Wednesday each month.

Internet Basics: Helping Older Adults Search for Health information Online, 1 p.m., July 16, 21, 23, 28, Start this class by attending the online banking program by Peoples Bank on June 9. Then continue with classes for the beginner computer user and will cover some basic Internet skills in order to search for health information that is of interest to older adults. Hands on use of computers and handouts to help you work on the skills that you have obtained will be used throughout the classes. $12 cost for all 6 classes will cover the materials that you will receive.
