Williamstown High bus routes

Williamstown High: Students living along Route 31 from Middle Hill north to Williamstown and those who live from a point northward from Route 31 along Route 2 north to the Pleasants County line attend this school. Also, students living south of Williamstown along Route 14 South to Boaz attend Williamstown High. The address is 5th and Williams, Williamstown. The phone number is 304-375-6151.

Bus 160

Driver: Steve Dorsey

WHS students on and around Kellar Lane and Burnt Hill Road will ride this bus to Williamstown High School. This bus begins its run when it enters Kellar Lane from the Boaz side. The run starts at the end of Kellar Lane at 7 a.m. About every one to two minutes later, more stops are made before the bus turns left onto Route 31. More stops are made on Route 31 before the bus goes to the Access Road at 7:20 a.m. making several stops including Mountaineer Trailer Park at 7:23 a.m. The bus arrives at Williamstown High at 7:30 a.m. In the afternoon these students will ride this bus, departing Williamstown High School at 3:15 p.m.

Bus 168

Driver: Rodney Modesitt

WHS students along Bull Run, Waverly area high school students and those students who live at Mullinex Addition on Route 31 will ride this bus. Starting at 6:45 a.m., students will be picked up along Bull Run, the Waverly Post Office before arriving at Waverly Elementary. The bus departs Waverly at 7:10 a.m. and goes to Williamstown via Route 2 South and Route 31 making a stop at Mullenex Addition at 7:15 a.m. The bus arrives at WHS at 7:25 a.m. In the afternoon, students who ride this bus from Bull Run will ride Bus 174 home and the students from Mullinex Addition will ride Bus 203 home. Students who rode Bus 203 from the Boaz area on the morning run will ride Bus 168 in the afternoon departing WHS at 3:25 p.m.

Bus 172

Driver: Mark Myers

WHS students along Carpenter Run Road, Waverly School, a section of Route 2, and Route 31, will ride this bus to school. The first stop on Carpenter Run is made at 6:45 a.m.; the bus makes several stops on Carpenter Run Road. The bus then stops at Waverly school at 7 a.m. The bus picks up students at Cooper’s Ridge Road at 7:07 a.m., several more stops are made before turning onto Route 31, the bus turns into Elmwood Heights, and then several stops are made along Route 31 before the bus travels to WHS arriving at 7:25 a.m. In the afternoon these students along with students who ride Bus 168 from the Waverly Post Office and Ross Road in the morning will ride this bus home departing WHS at 3:30 p.m.

Bus 174

The high school students on Pumpkin Knob and Waverly Road into Williamstown ride this bus on its morning run. Starting at the bus turn-around on Middle Hill Road at 6:48 a.m., several stops are scheduled on Pumpkin Knob and Waverly Road arriving at Williamstown High School at 7:26 a.m. Students who rode this bus in the morning along with the students from Bull Run Road that rode Bus 168 in the morning will ride this bus home departing WHS at 3:22 p.m.

Bus 203

Driver: Ron Seebaugh

WHS students that live on Route 31 from Middle Hill all along Route 31 to Route 2 North are on the first run for this bus. The second run is in the Boaz area. On the first run, the first stop is Middle Hill Road at 6:35 a.m., several stops are made along Route 31 before arriving at Parmetta Circle at 6:53 a.m., and the last stop is the intersection of Route 31 and St. Mary’s Pike. Arrival time at Williamstown High is 7:08 a.m. On the second run, the first stop is at the end of Dry Run on Route 14 at 7:17 a.m., making several stops along Route 14 before turning onto River Road at 7:25 a.m. where several more stops are made before arriving at Williamstown High School at 7:40 a.m. In the afternoon students from the first run, including students from Mullinex Addition that rode Bus 168 in the morning will ride this bus home, departing WHS at 3:23 p.m. The Boaz area students that rode Bus 203 on the second run.

Bus 160

More stops are made on Route 31 before the bus goes to the Access Road at 7:20 a.m. making several stops including Mountaineer Trailer Park at 7:23 a.m. The bus arrives at Williamstown Elementary at 7:25 a.m. In the afternoon this bus makes two runs, on its first run it departs at 2:50 p.m. The bus goes out Route 31 making stops along the way and turns around at Crooked Creek Archery before going to the Access Road. The bus then returns to Williamstown Elementary making its second run, departing at 3:15 p.m. taking home students living on Route 31 to the Burnt Hill Road intersection and then proceeds to Burnt Hill Road, Oak Grove and Kellar Lane.

Bus 168

Williamstown Elementary area students who live on N Dry Run Road and in Boaz on Route 14 will ride this bus. This bus starts at Homestead Drive at 7:38 a.m. and goes to Valley Manor, Boaz Gardens, Northwood Terrace, Doolin Drive, Meadowlark, Orange Drive, and Greenwood. After turning around the bus then makes stops at Henrie Lane, Homestead Drive, and Henderson Woods, and N Dry Run. The bus then proceeds to Williamstown Elementary arriving at 8 a.m. In the afternoon these students along with students that rode Bus 174 in the morning from River Road will ride this bus departing Williamstown Elementary at 2:55 p.m.

Bus 172

The Williamstown Elementary run for this bus is from the I-77 overpass to Route 2 and Route 31. This bus makes the first stop on Route 31 just past I-77 at 7:32 a.m. Several stops are made along Route 31 before the bus turns right from Route 31 into Elmwood Heights. The bus turns around and comes back to Route 31 making several more stops before the bus arrives at Williamstown Elementary at 8 a.m. In the afternoon, students who ride this bus in the morning will ride this bus home departing Williamstown Elementary at 3 p.m.

Bus 174

Driver: John Williams

Williamstown Elementary students living along Waverly Road between Waverly and Williamstown will ride this bus. This bus also runs along River Road in Boaz to Williamstown in the morning. The first stop on Waverly Road is at Fenton Lane at 7:09 a.m., the bus makes several more stops on Waverly Road arriving at Williamstown Elementary at 7:24 a.m. The Boaz portion of this run begins on River Road at 7:34 a.m. continuing along the way toward Henderson Hall. The bus returns to Williamstown Elementary via Route 14, arriving at 7:45 a.m. Students who live on Waverly Road between Williamstown and Waverly will ride Bus 174 home, departing Williamstown Elementary at 3:10 p.m. Students who live on River Road in the Boaz areas will ride Bus 168 home.

The first stop is made at 6:45 a.m. Several stops are made on Bull Run going to the turn around and back to Route 2 north. Then the bus turns left onto Route 2 South and makes a stop at the post office before going to Waverly Elementary School arriving at 7:10 a.m. In the afternoon students riding this bus on the morning run from Bull Run Road will ride Bus 174 to home. Students riding this bus from Waverly Post Office will ride Bus 172 home.

Bus 172

Waverly Elementary School students on Carpenters Run Road will ride this bus. The first stop on Carpenter Run is made at 6:45 a.m.; the bus makes several stops on Carpenter Run Road, before arriving at Waverly at 7 a.m. In the afternoon these students along with students who ride Bus 168 in the morning from Waverly Post Office and Ross Road, and students that live on the right side of Route 31 between Carpenter Run Road and Route 2 that rode Bus 209 in the morning will ride this bus departing Waverly School at 2 p.m.

Bus 174

Driver John Williams

Waverly elementary students on Pumpkin Knob will ride this bus. Starting at the bus turn-around on Middle Hill Road at 6:48 a.m., this bus will carry students into Waverly Elementary. Several stops are scheduled on Pumpkin Knob, and stops are made at the intersection of Virginia Street and Fourth Street and Virginia Street and Ross Road before the bus arrives at Waverly School at 7:05 a.m. In the afternoon these students along with students who rode Bus 168 from Bull Run will ride Bus 174 home in the afternoon, departing Waverly School at 2:05 p.m.

Bus 209

Driver: Susan Schaad

Waverly students who live along Route 31 from Middle Hill to Route 2 and students close to Truss Rafter, at Woodland Falls and Cooper’s Ridge ride this bus to Waverly. The bus begins at Middle Hill at 6:38 a.m. In the afternoon, students that live on the right side of Route 31 between Carpenter Run Road and Route 2 will ride Bus 172 home. All other students that rode this bus in the morning will ride Bus 209 home departing Waverly School at 2 p.m.
