¯ Ten Touchstones of Grief and Mourning for All Losses, 1 p.m., Wednesdays – Grief support groups sponsored by Marietta Hospice, led by BRV Coordinator Kent Lowther.

¯ Ballroom Dancing, 6 to 7 p.m., every Monday – John Polasko has volunteered to lead this new dance class featuring all your favorite ballroom dance styles. Begins with the basic waltz and cha-cha steps and go from there.

¯ Hearing aid cleaning and hearing testing beginning at noon – Have your hearing needs met each month. Bringing us this free service monthly is the Ohio Valley Hearing Professionals. Cleanings are the first Thursday and the hearing test is the first Tuesday. Call for an appointment time offered between noon and 2 p.m.

¯ Personal Manicures & Pedicures by Heather – Second Monday of each month, beginning at 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. Heather McCauley comes to us with 30 years of experience with nail care. Manicure and pedicure appointments will each last 30 minutes, you may schedule one or both-all done in the privacy of our health screening room. Cost is $18 for a manicure and $30 for a pedicure. Gel polish is available for an additional $10. Call to schedule an appointment time. Appointment times begin at 9 a.m. Call 373-3914 to register for any of the classes listed above.

¯ Massage Appointments – First, second and third Friday each month. Call for appointment times and reservations.

¯ Line Dance with Donnie – Day classes on Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m., $5.

¯ Lunch Bunch – Meets at area restaurants at 11:30 a.m. It’s important to call the O’Neill Center so we can give the restaurant an advanced count. March 1 is meeting at Joe Mommas, Frontier Shopping Center. April 5, Riviera at the Valley Gem, Front Street, Marietta.

¯ Evening line dance on Thursdays – 6:30 p.m. for beginners, 7:40 p.m. for advanced. $5.

¯ Fun & Fit Exercise Class – Geared to seniors 50+, a fun fitness class using bands, weights and low impact aerobics set to lively music. $12 per month, classes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:30 a.m. to noon. Taught by Candi Hall-Cisler, personal trainer.

¯ Zumba classes – Tuesday and Thursday, 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. $25 for six classes. Becky Lightfritz, ZIN Certified Zumba Instructor. Open to the public all ages.

Trips (new in 2019)

¯ Mardi Gras Casinos, March 19 – $40 includes slot free play.

¯ Mountaineer Casino & Resort, April 15-16 – $100 double occupancy, food voucher and free play.

¯ Northern Ohio Wine & Cheese Tour, April 25 – $72 to enjoy a day at Amish Country, stopping at Baltic Mill Winery, Millers Dutch Kitchen, Yellow Butterfly, Pearl Valley Cheese and ending our day at Raven’s Glenn Wine and Dinner.

¯ Nautica Queen, May 7 – $80. Enjoy a delicious meal while cruising the Cleveland fronts. Unlimited buffet meal and musical entertainment are included.

¯ Outer Banks, May 20-23 – $689 per person for double occupancy, four day/three night trip. This trip includes three breakfasts, three dinners and one seafood dinner. We will explore lighthouses, Currituck Heritage Park, Roanoke Aquarium, Elizabethan Gardens, Wright Brothers National Memorial and Elizabeth II, an English Merchant Vessel.

¯ Wheeling Island, May 29 – $38. Free play and your favorite lunch spot, Mehlman’s.

¯ The Wilds, June 5 – $80. A trip through the Wilds is always a fun getaway with a lunch buffet on the Veranda.

¯ Ladies and the Mansions, June 19 – $82. Our morning starts at the First Ladies Museum in Canton, Ohio including the Ida Saxton McKinley Historic Home. After lunch included at the Stan Hewitt Mansion gardens we will explore the former estate of F.A. Seiberling co-founder of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with an afternoon at the Stan Hewitt Mansion.

¯ Meadows Casino & Racetrack, June 24 – $40. Free play and live horse racing is planned for the day.

¯ Hudson Valley, NY, July 8-11 – $799 per person for double occupancy, $999 for single occupancy. Visit West Point, Sleepy Hollow and a sightseeing cruise on the Hudson River, Historic Hydt Park, Vanderbilt Manson and a local Hudson Valley Winery.

¯ Southern Ohio Tour, July 17 – $64. Start our morning with a leisurely walk in Ash Cave in Logan. Explore the Dutch Creek Winery, Athens’ Dairy Barn Art Center and enjoy your included lunch along the way.

¯ Scioto Downs Casino, Columbus, July 24 – $40. Free play in this smoke free casino is included.

¯ Mystery Tour, Aug. 12 – $75. This tour includes four tours, one lunch, and a river experience. That’s all we can tell you about that day. Your surprise awaits! Come join the fun on this mystery tour!

¯ Mardi Gras Casino, Cross Lanes, WV, Aug. 20 – $40. Includes free play.

¯ Kentucky Bluegrass Tour, Sept. 16-19 – $675 double occupancy. This four day, three night Kentucky stay includes a dinner cruise on the Belle of Louisville, lunch buffet at Boone Tavern, Kentucky Horse Park and Museum, guided tours of Berea College including the Log House Craft Gallery, Appalachian concert, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and Bluegrass distillers in Lexington.

¯ Wheeling Island, Sept. 25 – $38. Free play and lunch on your own at Mehlman’s Cafeteria.
