Common pleas sentencings

The following people had sentencing hearings at the Washington County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday:
•Amy Finley, 42, of 2370 Avenwood Court, Columbus was sentenced to 18 months in prison for tampering with evidence. The sentence is in regards to a March 2015 arrest when Finley and an unspecified number of other males were pulled over near the 6 mile marker on interstate 77. Large amounts of heroin, crack and powder cocaine were found on her person and in the vehicle.
“It seemed as if she was the drug courier,” said Washington County Prosecutor Kevin Rings. “It obviously belonged to the guys with her, but she would never indicate it was theirs.”
•A warrant for the arrest of a Cincinnati man was issued by the Common Pleas Court Wednesday after he failed to appear for his sentencing.
Patrick C. Henry, 45, of 284 Irwin St., Cincinnati, was arrested for a fourth-degree felony charge of burglary. On Dec. 5, Henry was caught trying to commit a burglary at the Walmart at 804 Pike St. Henry is facing up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine.
