Lowell woman sentenced for chasing ex with car

A Lowell woman was sentenced to time served and two years community control for aggravated drug possession, domestic violence and criminal damaging on Friday.

On Nov. 6, Crystal Jeffers, 45, of 753 Lowell Hill Road, pleaded guilty to the charges related to an April arrest by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called to Jeffers’ residence after her ex-husband reported that Jeffers had chased him around in her vehicle. Jeffers drove through her neighbor’s yard while chasing her former spouse, ending the chase by running her vehicle into his car.

The 26 days Jeffers already served was given as punishment for the domestic violence and criminal damaging charge. The two years community control was sentenced to Jeffers for the aggravated drug possession charge.
