Reports/Washington County

•Deputies were dispatched to 300 Starlite Drive, Lot 8, Marietta, on June 29 in reference to an adult male attempting to get a juvenile to stab another adult with a large butcher knife. Deputies encountered Tracy Morris in a yelling and screaming match with several people outside of the residence. Morris was told to be quiet and go back inside the residence. Morris kept yelling and screaming obscenities. Deputies then placed Tracy Glenn Morris, 65, of Lot 7, under arrest for disorderly – cease and desist and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle. In speaking with witnesses at the residence, deputies were advised that a juvenile had retrieved a large butcher knife and was running around with it in his hands at which time Morris started to encourage the juvenile to stab and kill Justin Maliki. This was provoked to the point that 911 was called. Morris also obtained a large stick and went at Maliki in a very aggressive manner in which both witnesses thought Morris was going to strike Maliki with the stick. After speaking with all parties involved Morris was transported to the Washington County Jail and was also charged with aggravated menacing and child endangering.

• A deputy began an investigation on June 29 in reference to a home being entered at 19334 State Route 550. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy met with customers of the Holiday Inn Express on June 29 in reference to items missing from the back of their work trucks. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy began an investigation June 29 on Newbury Road in Little Hocking in reference to vehicle damage. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy, along with the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department, arrived at the Levi Murray residence on June 30 for a truck on fire. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to 1455 East Branch Road, Lowell, on June 30. It was reported that Mark Bennett had been located in the woods behind the residence after he was reported as missing earlier in the day. The defendant was initially reported as being “on drugs and running around in the woods naked.” Bennett was located in the woods and was yelling about doing “that good meth.” Bennett continued speaking incoherently, attempting to walk out into the middle of the roadway. Bennett was taken under control and he continued to pull away however was eventually handcuffed and restrained. Mark Allen Bennett, 29, of 1455 East Branch Road, Lowell, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public indecency.

• A deputy responded to Lower Salem, on June 30 for a report of Ross Phillips, driving around yelling at an individual and making hand gestures. This was witnessed by two people. An attempt to speak with Phillips was unsuccessful. Based on the results of the investigation a warrant is being requested for Ross L. Phillips, 32, of 331 Main St., Lower Salem, for disorderly conduct.

• Deputies responded to 368 Olinn Road, Marietta, Ohio, on Monday to a 911 call. It was reported that Tiffany Buckley went to the residence and attacked Robin Buckley and Lorain Strahler. Deputies met with all individuals and after completing the investigation placed Robin Lee Buckley, 29, of 890 Rainbow Road, Waterford, and Tiffany Buckley, 26, of 890 Rainbow Road, Waterford, under arrest for domestic violence. Both were transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

•A deputy responded to Brandy Drive on Tuesday for a report of items missing from a residence. This case remains under investigation.

• On Tuesday, a deputy and the Barlow Volunteer Fire Department responded to Ohio 550, to a tractor fire at the Ethel Wagner residence. The tractor was a total loss.

• Myron W Schwaben, of 1255 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras, driving under suspension.

• Christopher Ledger, of 29385 E Belpre Pike Road, Coolville, failure to appear on a tampering with evidence charge.

• Delbert D. Cain, of 100 Simpson St., Marietta, failure to appear on a trafficking in drugs charge, failure to appear on a driving under OVI suspension.

• Domingo Garza, of 1107 Beverly Drive, Laredo, Texas, failure to appear on a driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs charge.

• Dreama L. Langsdorf, of 204 Dale St., Marietta, failure to appear on a civil case.

• Nancy Sue Newton, of 50498 Bigley Road, Long Bottom, failure to appear on a civil case.

• Jason McConnell, of 176 Veto Circle, Belpre, failure to appear on a driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

• Larry D. Rutter, of 20470 State Route 60, Beverly, disorderly conduct.

• Derek Jordon Vanhorn, of 554 Sandridge Road, Waterford, failure to appear on a resisting arrest charge, breach of recognizance on a resisting arrest charge, and theft.

• Joshua Aaron Ewers, of 32926 Evans Ridge Road, New Matamoras, failure to appear on a child support case.

• Jennifer Victoria Sample, of 506 Caroline Ave., Williamstown, failure to appear and breach of recognizance on a criminal trespassing charge.

• Dashawn Lamar Young, of 2728 Yudor Road, Columbus, failure to appear on two charges of trafficking in drugs.

• Zachary Carlisle Boothby, of 2396 Woodruff Road, Vincent, failure to register dogs and dogs running at large.

• Jeremy Ray Davis, of 1072 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras, driving under suspension.

• Jeremy Wayne Campbell, of 57 Garage Lane, Waterford, failure to appear on a child support case.

• Kenneth Lee Barnhart, of 10274 State Route 550, Vincent, failure to appear on a possession of drugs charge.

• Jaclyn Virginia Cardwell,of 1349 Drift Run Road, Sandyville, W.Va., failure to appear on a breaking and entering charge.

• Jeffrey D. Smith, of 213 ½ Elm St., failure to appear on a possession of drugs charge.

• Austin W. Wright, of 1045 Sandhill Road, #22, Marietta, probation violation, on a possession of drugs charge.

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

• Meghan Elyse Dorset, 30, of 295 S. Ridge Road, Davisville, W.Va., was arrested for theft of firearms, three counts, and two counts of receiving stolen property, all felonies.

• Gayle Ann Dotson, 49, of 2446 Dutch Ridge Road, Parkersburg, was arrested for making false alarms, a felony.

• Damon Thomas Berry, 24, of 16210 Arcade Ave., Cleveland, was arrested for trafficking in drugs, tampering with evidence, receiving proceeds of an offense subject to forfeiture, escape and parole violation, all felonies.

• Corey Butler Adams, 34, of 202 Sacra Via, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

• Dane Anthony Mason, 40, was arrested for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

• Trey Robert Rice, 22, of 5999 N. Torch Road, Little Hocking, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

• Joel Edward Cooke, 29, homeless, was arrested for contempt, failure to appear, and suspension, both misdemeanors.

• Austin Ariel Oliver, 35, of 100 Linwood Ave., Apt. A, Marietta, was arrested for obstructing justice and probation violation, both misdemeanors, permitting drug abuse and possession of drugs, both felonies.

• Marcus Maurice Kimbrough, 30, of 103 Woodcrest Lane, Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony, theft, driving under suspension and breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors.

• Bradley William Rogers, 28, of 406 Scammel St., Marietta, was arrested for driving under suspension and fictitious plates, both misdemeanors.

• Derek Douglas Oldfield, 33, of 914 Emerson St., Marietta, was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

• Jamie Annette Barton, 42, of 1320 Myrtle St., Parkersburg, was arrested for breach of recognizance and failure to appear, both felonies.

• Savanna Kaylee Henry, 26, of 532 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for contempt of court, a felony.

• Zohn Joseph Dominick Kelly, 29, of 1111 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arrested for contempt of court, a felony.

• Dakota Anthony McCormick, 22, of 459 Main St., Philo, was arrested for contempt of court.

• Evan Nathanael York, 25, of 6065 Zook Parkway, Asheboro, N.C., theft, a misdemeanor.

• Joseph Trey Nicholson, 34, of 3507 Plum St., Parkersburg, was arrested for fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

• Elizabeth Riley Mockler, 23, of 1028 W. 12th St., Lorain, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public indecency, both misdemeanors.

• Justin Tyler Gibbs, 27, homeless, was arrested for receiving stolen property, a felony, driving under suspension and turn/stop sign violation, both misdemeanors.

• Naomi Josephine Forbes, 31, of 1285 Lexington Ave., Akron, was arrested for trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs, and possession of marijuana, felonies, resisting arrest, speed, driving under suspension, obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors.

• Jack William Alvarez, 31, of 200 River Road, Marietta, was arrested for weapons while intoxicated and aggravated menacing, both misdemeanors.
