Reports/Washington County

• On July 26, a dog belonging to 127 Ohio Blvd., Marietta, got loose from the residence. The dog aggressively chased a juvenile onto another neighbor’s property. Adults in the area were able to get the dog to retreat without further incident. Jeremy Matthew Rowe, 34, admitted the dog had been loose in the past but stated he was sleeping on this date so was unaware of this incident. A summons is being requested for Rowe for failure to restrain and failure to register.

• Mark O’Brien, of 2665 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported the theft of a hay tedder from his property on July 28. The equipment is valued at more than $4,000. This case remains under investigation.

• John Balog, of 36214 Darrah Ridge Road, Macksburg, reported Monday that his property had been entered. This case remains under investigation.

•James Hill, of 122 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta, reported a missing/stolen license plate on Monday. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to 1790 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, on Monday for a disturbance. A report was received that David Hamilton and Angelica Morris were involved in an altercation. Morris stated she and Hamilton were arguing about personal issues, and then began to assault each other. Morris stated she had pushed Hamilton and he had pulled her hair. The deputy is requesting a summons be issued to Angelica L. Morris, 20, and David Allen Hamilton, 20, for disorderly conduct.

• A deputy responded to 2520 Bear Run Road, New Matamoras, on Tuesday for a disturbance between Samuel Hartshorn and Melidi Humphrey. Humphrey said on July 24 Hartshorn grabbed both of her wrists and squeezed, causing bruising, which was still apparent on Tuesday. Humphrey said she retrieved the phone and tried calling 911, however, Hartshorn forced the phone away from her. Hartshorn said he did not remember any of it. Samuel Abraham Hartshorn, 41, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

• A deputy responded to 300 Starlite Drive Lot 5, Marietta, on Wednesday after Rhonda Tanner reported receiving unwanted phone calls from Joshua L. Williams. Tanner received approximately 100 phone calls from Williams Monday evening, and he would not stop calling after being told to by Tanner. Tanner stated she received seven phone calls from an unknown number throughout the day, and three voicemails which coincided with the times from the three unknown phone calls. These voicemails were determined to be from Williams. Williams admitted to calling Tanner and leaving the voicemail messages because he wanted to talk to her. A summons is being requested for Joshua L. Williams, 38, of 570 High St., Macksburg, for telecommunications harassment.

• On Wednesday, a deputy began an investigation into an assault that took place in Barlow Township. This case remains under investigation.

• The Dunham Volunteer Fire Department responded to McLaughlin Auto Sales on Ohio 339 in Belpre Wednesday for a report of a vehicle fire.

• A deputy took a report in Belpre Township Wednesday in reference to an account with Direct TV opened in the victim’s name. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to Fearing Township Thursday for a possible domestic incident. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

• A deputy responded to Marietta Township on Thursday for a runaway/unruly child complaint. The child was returned home.

• A deputy responded to Stone Quarry Road in Fleming on Thursday to meet with William Robinson. Robinson reported items inside a residence he owns were removed. Those items include a refrigerator, quilt rack, dryer, washing machine, guns, movies, curtains, and many more items. This case remains under investigation.

• Robert Ruble, of 2006 Hackberry St., Akron, breach of recognizance.

• Lisa Joy, of 1220 E. Branch Road, Lowell, disorderly conduct, and breach of recognizance on a disorderly conduct charge.

• Cody Knotts, of 8965 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, probation violation, on a driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs charge.

• John Barry, of 601 Wheeling Ave., Cambridge, failure to appear on a theft charge.

• Emily M. Blevins, of 541 Barnett Ridge Road, Belpre, probation violation on a disorderly conduct charge.

• Lee Charlton, of 1588 Federal Road, Little Hocking, probation violation on prohibitions against consumption in a motor vehicle charge.

• Angie Katherine Foreman,of 401 ½ Main St., #1, Caldwell, probation violation on an illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia charge.

• Kaylee Madison, of 1045 Hocking Road, Little Hocking, probation violation on a driving while under the influence of alcohol charge.

• Dakota A. McCormick, of 459 Main St., Philo, probation violation on a criminal damaging charge.

• Jeffrey L. Metcalf, of 6956 State Route 329, Guysville, probation violation on a possession of drugs charge.

• Stephanie Nicole Vaughan, of 130 Brandy Drive, Marietta, failure to appear on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge and breach of recognizance on unauthorized use of motor vehicle charge.

• Amanda Wigal, of 169 Second Lane, Belpre, probation violation on an illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia charge.

• Vincent E. Roberts, of 1920 Roberts Road, Amesville, domestic violence.

• Chad R. Dixon, of 1072 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras, failure to appear on trafficking in drugs charge.

• Derek Andrew Hill, of 1260 Huck Road, Lowell, contempt of court on a driving under suspension charge.

• Brandon J. Murphy, of 16000 State Route 821, Macksburg, animals at large and failure to register dogs.

• Daniel Earl Sciance, 23, of 105 Wyoming St., Apt. 3, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation and driving under suspension.

• Robert Gregory Price, 47, of 112 Maple St., Marietta, was arrested for probation violation and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.

• Marc Lewis Jaeger, 51, of 488 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, was arrested for OVI, a felony.

• Curtis Dean Howell, 34, homeless, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

• Michael Joseph Estee, 33, of 304 High St., Senecaville, was arrested for complicity to aggravated robbery.

• Michael Lee Wallace, 32, of 510 E. Ohio Ave., Mt. Vernon, was arrested for theft, a felony.

• Rebecca Lou Sergent, 29, of 1195 E. Branch Road, Lowell, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.

• Christina Rose Nunn, 49, of 106 Devol Drive, Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs and permitting drug abuse, both felonies.

• Michael Keith Jeffers, 36, of 106 Devol Drive, Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony.

• Christopher Neil Mayle, 40, of 2450 Two Mile Run Road, Cutler, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and disrupting public service, a felony.

• Carrie Esther Maine, 36, of 213 Holly St., Marietta, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

• Kenneth Ray Rogers, 32, of 801 ½ Front St., Marietta, was arrested for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

• Elizabeth Marie Greathouse, 37, of 2195 Layman Road, Vincent, was arrested for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

• James Tyler Morgan, 25, of 119 N. Hart St., Apt. 7, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
