Summer Bible Institute continues
Pastor Myron K. Guiler will preach on “Christ, the Good Shepherd” at the 10 a.m. service on June 16 at the Marietta Bible Center Church. At the 6 p.m. service he will preach on “The Christian’s Armour, Against the Devil.”
The Summer Bible Institute will continue on June 17 at 7 p.m. The study will be entitled “The Sure Work of God” taken from the Epistle of II Peter.
All children and young people of the area are invited to attend the Vacation Bible School which will be held at the Marietta Bible Center Church. Sessions will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. from June 17 to 21. There will be songs, Bible stories and lessons, games and refreshments. Transportation will be available for all who request it by calling the church office.
The church will have an All-American Day on June 30 with special emphasis on duty and gratitude for our country. An All-American picnic will follow the service.

Women of the Word to meet Wednesday
W.O.W. – Women of the Word will be meeting Wednesdays at 7 p.m. beginning June 19 at Marietta First Church of the Nazarene at 100 Mill Creek Road, Marietta. The program is for those looking for Christian friendship and accountability and learn how to study the Bible in a life-changing manner. The brand new Women’s Growth group is facilitated by Denay May. There will be activities for children newborn to high school.

Putnam Church Preschool summer activities will include: June 17, Pirate Treasure Hunt; July 29, Water Day; and Aug. 26, Parent Orientation.

Lowell church hosts movie on June 22
The movie “Monumental: In Search of America’s National Treasure” will be shown at 7 p.m., June 22, at St. John’s Evangelical Church. The church is located at 312 4th St., Lowell. The move explores the spiritual roots of America with the theme “Our Families Are Worth Fighting For.” There is no charge and all are welcome.

Cornerstone Messianic Congregation Ministries will be having a fellowship and prayer meeting the third Thursday of each month. Fellowship starts at 6 p.m. with finger foods and refreshments. At 7 p.m. following fellowship will be prayer for our nation, community, families and individual needs.

Great Grace School of the Gospel Classes will be held Friday nights at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 1:30 at Fresh Fire Church. Classes are attended at your convenience, or enrolled in, for graduation in the fall. It is a 12-week session of studying the New Testament truths.
Classes can be attended Fridays, Sundays, or both. Attendance will be recorded on behalf of enrolled students wanting to graduate at the end of this semester.
Cost will be a weekly offering received during class sessions. Finances will be used to produce video, audio, and written materials for the school and attending students, and also to produce the Gospel of Grace program for television and internet radio.
For anyone not able to attend classes live, audio sessions of each class subject will be available for a financial donation.
Students should bring a Bible or New Testament as well as paper and pens for taking notes.
