Free lunch Saturday at Beverly church
The Beverly United Methodist Church will be sponsoring a free community lunch on Saturday, July 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The menu will be brats, hot dogs, sloppy joes, grilled potatoes, coleslaw, corn on the cob, watermelon, dessert and beverage. The church is at 700 Park St., Beverly and is handicapped accessible. No reservations are required.

Free ice cream, music, games Sat.
Washington Hall Christian Union Church on County Road, 138 Rinard Mills Road. New Matamoras, is having an ice cream social from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26.
There will be free home made ice cream, free music, and free corn hole games with special singing by Country Gospel Ruthie Dunn and The Sunderman Family.

Group discussion on Genesis continues
“Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis,” a continuation of the 12-week video teaching and group discussion being held Sunday evenings, 6 to 7 p.m. at North Hills Baptist Church, 108 Stonecrest Drive, off Colegate Drive, Marietta. The fourth session in the series will be held July 27, “Buried Clues,” looks at fossil records.

Regeneration Weekend July 31-Aug. 2
Regeneration Weekend will be held at 7 p.m. nightly with speakers and music from July 31 through Aug. 2 at Torch Baptist Church, 4047 Ellis Road in Torch. The Late Night Cafe will be open Aug. 1 and 2 from 8:30 to 10 p.m. with cafe food and a live band nightly. A love offering will be received nightly. Everyone is welcome.
Episcopal church’s next free meal Aug. 5
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will hold their next free meal from 5 to 6 p.m. Aug. 5 at 320 Second St., Marietta. The meal will include pork, mashed potatoes, vegetables, dessert, and beverage.
Public can watch ‘God’s Not Dead’ free

A gospel sing will be held at 7 p.m., July 12 at Mt. Hermon Church on Ohio 550 in Amesville. There will be performances by Jimmy Howson and Justin and Rebecca McBride.

Church plans mission to Jamaica
The Marietta First Church of the Nazarene located at 100 Mill Creek Road has a team of 10 teens and adults leaving for a Jamaican mission trip on Saturday, July 19. The team will be there one week and will provide Vacation Bible School and sports camps.
The Tunnel United Methodist Men will meet for breakfast on Sunday, July 13 at 8 a.m. The men are scheduled to sing at the 9 a.m. worship service. All men are invited to attend.
‘Guests’ wanted for junior church
“Be Our Guest” Day Junior Church will be held at 10:30 a.m., July 20, at Harmony Hill Baptist Church. It will be for children ages 5 to 12 and their parents at 41051 Trial Run Road, Brownsville, 6 miles north of New Matamoras. Every boy and girl who attends will be treated at VIPs with pictures taken, gifts given, and a special surprise VIP.

Community music workshop
Let’s Make Music, Again! community music workshop will be held for kids 2nd – 6th grade from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, July 21 through Thursday, July 24 at the First Presbyterian Church in Williamstown.
They will learn more about music and rhythm, the music use in a worship service, make instruments, take part in a special service activity, learn from and meet some very special guest musicians and see how music can be used to care for self and others.
The workshop is free of charge and lunch will be provided daily. You do not need to be a member of the church to attend.

Church offers free community meal
First Presbyterian Church of Marietta is offering a free lunch for the community on Tuesday, July 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located on the corner of Wooster and Fourth streets with the entrance off Wooster Street. Everyone is welcome.
Christian school accepting students
The Marietta Christian School is accepting students for the fall semester. Classes are offered for students from kindergarten through the 12th grade. Classes will begin on Aug. 25.
The Marietta Bible College is accepting applications for the fall semester. Students living in the area may enroll on a full or part-time basis. Registration is on Sept. 3 with classes beginning on Sept. 4.
