Vacation Bible School
“Camp Moose on the Loose,” theme of Vacation Bible School at Bethel Lighthouse Church Sunday evening, from June 17 through Friday evening, June 22, each night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening will be the Kick-off for Camp with a preview of the week’s lessons and activities, inflatables, games, prizes, fun food and more. Monday through Friday will feature Bible lessons that teach kids age 2, through adults about God’s forever forgiveness. All ages are invited. The church is located just off St. Route 676, on County Road 126, near Lane’s Farm Market. All are welcome any or all nights. “Time Lab: Discovering Jesus from Eternity Past to Eternity Future,” theme of Vacation Bible School held June 18 to 22 at Twin Rivers Baptist Church, 110 D.A.V. Road, Whipple. Sessions will be conducted from 6:15 to 9 p.m. each evening for children ages 3 through 12. There will be singing, skits, games, crafts, Bible lessons, snacks and prizes. There will also be a free carnival on the last evening of VBS. Free bus transportation will be provided for those calling the church to request it. “The Golden Rule,” theme of Vacation Bible School at Belpre Heights UMC and St. Marks UMC, which will be held at 720 Clement Ave. Belpre, 1 to 5 p.m., June 23. Virtuous Reality Puppeteer Group will present Black light Puppet Ministry. Make your own puppets and learn how to work them. Whole families are invited.
