Lotina J. Vannoy Karcher

Lotina J. Karcher, nee Vannoy, 37, of Millstadt, Ill. born Aug. 5, 1975, In Marietta, died Wednesday (June 26, 2013) at DePaul Medical Center, Bridgeton, Mo.

Lotina was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the Millstadt Civic Club, and was a receptionist for the Salvation Army.

Lotina is the daughter of Donald and Linda, nee Foster, Vannoy Jr., of Belleville, Ill. She married Ronald Karcher Jr. on Oct. 11, 1997, at St. James Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Donald Vannoy Sr. and Oliver Foster.

Surviving besides her parents and husband, is her brother, Donald Vannoy III, of Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Lori Vannoy of Shiloh, Ill.; her grandmothers, Charlotte Vannoy of Marietta and Lois Foster of Reno, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Mela and Maya Karcher of San Diego, Calif., Ellen Martin of Shiloh, Ill. and Alexander Martin of Granite City, Ill.; and many friends.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013, and from 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Creason Funeral Home, Millstadt, Ill.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Ill. with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt.
