Tammie Lorraine Hopstetter

Tammie Lorraine Hopstetter, 51, of Chesterhill, died on Thursday (Aug. 22, 2013) at 1:54 p.m. at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. She was born on March 26, 1962, in Chesterhill, to Harley (Bud) and Carolyn Mayle Hill.

She graduated from Morgan High School and attended Hocking College. She was a housewife/homemaker and worked at Energizer Battery in Marietta for 11 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in McConnelsville.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Hopstetter of the home; parents, Harley (Bud) and Carolyn Mayle Hill of Chesterhill; mother-in-law, Sally Hopstetter of Nelsonville; one son, Alexander Hopstetter of Chesterhill; one daughter, Savannah Hopstetter (James Goins) of Chesterhill; one brother, Timothy (Regina) Hill of Chesterhill; two sisters, Terri (Terry “JC”) Lowers of Little Hocking and Trina (Brent) Jones of Chesterhill; one nephew, Josiah; three nieces, Amy, Rachel and Meleah; and one granddaughter, Jayla.

Services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pat Gast officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesterhill Cemetery.
