Gary Allen ‘Crazy’ Henniger

Gary Allen “Crazy” Henniger, 57, of Lowell, died Friday (April 4, 2014). He was born in Marietta to Clifford Jack and Leona Christina Strahler Henniger.

Gary was a 1974 graduate of Fort Frye High School. He was a self-employed contractor and for a short time was a fire fighter in Marietta. He enjoyed playing cards and hunting. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed racing motorcycles. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 750 and of the Lowell Moose and will be missed by his many friends he enjoyed there.

Gary is survived by his two daughters, Nikki Henniger of Lowell and Jamey Brown of Marietta; a brother, Dennis J. (Juanita) Henniger of Lowell; a sister, Kelly Stottlemyer (Jeffrey) of Bothell, Wash.; five grandchildren, Dominick, Jantzen, Braden, Peyton and Caelum; many nieces and nephews, as well as his many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Pastor Don Hart officiating. Friends may call from 3:30 p.m. up until time of services. Following cremation, his ashes will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to the L-A Fire & Rescue Squad, P.O.
