Frances L. Reichardt

Frances L. Reichardt, 90, of Fleming, Ohio, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 8, 2014, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on Feb. 17, 1924, in Scappoose, Ore., to the late Frank and Elsa Kockritz Wikstrom. She was also raised by her step-father, Frank Berdahl, from age three and on.

Frances was a Past Worthy High Priestess of Marietta Shrine #12 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and Past Worthy Matron of Lowell Chapter #272 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a past Jury Commissioner, Reservationist for the Economic Round Table of the Ohio Valley, a 55+ year member of the Ohio 4-H, where she served on the Camp Hervida Board, a member of the First Congregational Church, a Wood Chuck member of Outdoor Education, and an avid traveler, touring all 50 states. Frances also went ultra lite flying, snow tubing and motorcycling, all past the age of 80.

Frances is survived by three children, James (Kathy) Reichardt, Linda Gorman and Donna (Roger) Hines; seven grandchildren, Christopher (Deanna) Reichardt, Matthew (Tracy) Reichardt, Jennifer Reichardt, Danielle (Brian) Nierman, Clinton (Jenna) Jennings, Shelley (Gary) Luke and Barry Jennings; 11 great-grandchildren, Samantha and Dalton Reichardt, Madison, Nash and Megan Reichardt, Jacob, Ian and Kiersten Nierman, Stephen Luke, Gavin and Riley Jennings; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Albert Reichardt (May 17, 1987); two brothers, Ivan and Alvin Wikstrom; and a sister, Alice Apperson.

Services will be held at 12 Noon, June 14, at the Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, with Pastor Bob Sinnett officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, June 14.
