Rebecca ‘Becky’ Charlene Pryor Konz
Rebecca “Becky” Charlene Pryor Konz, 60, of Vincent, went to be with her Savior and Lord on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family that she loved so very much…the Most!
She was born Aug. 25, 1953, in Parkersburg, to John R. Pryor and Carolyn Goff Pryor McDonnell.
Becky was a 1971 graduate of Parkersburg High School. Becky retired from the Bureau of the Public Debt after 40 1/2 years of federal service. She was so grateful for the opportunities she had in her career and thankful for all the friends that became her extended family.
Becky is survived by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob); three daughters, Christine Hawkins, Paula Konz and Alyssa Cantley (Tyler); two granddaughters, Amye Hawkins and Rachel Hawkins; her mother, Carolyn Goff Pryor McDonnell; her dad, Patrick DeWitt McDonnell; her Aunt Janie; one brother, Patrick McDonnell (Andrea), and their two daughters (her nieces), Sarah and Lauren; and one sister, Annette Gelbrich (Frank), and their children, Peter (her nephew), and Anna (her niece). “I love you….the Most.”
She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Pryor; her infant son, Benjamin Josiah; her grandparents and great-grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
Becky wanted us to be sure to thank all the “earth angels” in her life-her family; her friends; all the staff at the James Cancer Center (Dr. Bhinder, Alicia, Tammy, Holly and staff); 7 East staff; housekeeper, Koran; sweet nutrition staff, PET scanners, Jim and George; admissions staff, Sarah and Tiffany; all the oncology staff at Camden Clark (Dr. Shah, Dr, Kyathari and all their staff); her classmates of 1971; everyone at North Parkersburg Baptist Church; HROD, EBB and all of “BPD.”

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 21, at North Parkersburg Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 20, at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre.
