Doris M. Rinard, 93, of Marietta, OH passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Brookdale of Marietta. She was born on May 23, 1923 in Bloomfield, OH to the late Perry D. and Anna A. Paton Cline.

Doris graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1941. She worked as a bank teller for Peoples Bank for 32 years before retiring. She was a member of various churches throughout the years. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines, a secretary of Bloomfield Alumni as well as being on the board of the Bloomfield Local Schools, a treasurer of Williamstown United Methodist Church and was active in the Senior Citizens of Williamstown.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Rinard (Julie) of Williamstown; daughter, Karen Eddy of Wingett Run, OH; grandchildren, Joshua Rinard (Audra), Megan Reitnauer (Brit), Leslie Eddy (Joann), Milton Eddy (Christina), Kurt Eddy (Angela); great grandchildren, Hudson and Helen Rinard and Parker, Jayden, Kendall, Bradey, Gage, Logan and Dalton Eddy. Also surviving are step children, Barbara Leasure (Bill), Jeff Thurston (Diane), Gloria Pursley (Stan), Daonna Smith (Jim); seven step grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Rinard and Bill Thurston; four sisters; three brothers and a son-in-law, Leslie S. Eddy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the O’Neill Senior Center, 333 Fourth St., Marietta, OH 45750 or to a church of donor’s choice.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH. Burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Vistation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the funeral home.
