John Henry Bedilion
John Henry Bedilion, 74, of Athens, Oh. passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at home.
John was born on Sept. 17, 1943 in New Matamoras, Ohio, and was the son of the late Robert and Juanita Bedilion of New Matamoras, Ohio. He was a 1961 graduate of New Matamoras High School. He was a 1963 graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology. John worked his way through college as a DJ then worked for over 30 years as an Audio-Visual Specialist for Vere Smith Audio Visual. John was an entrepreneur and computer consultant until he retired. He was a member of the Richland United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Janet of 53 years; three children, Joanna (Tim) Gagle of Lebanon, Tn., Janell Hoelzer of Columbus, Oh., and Jodi (Todd) Mitchell of Athens, Oh.; seven grandchildren, Jordan (Riley) Hoelzer, Jenna Hoelzer, Morgan Gagle (Matt) Cavallo, Hogan Gagle, India Mitchell, Finnegan Mitchell and Piper Mitchell; and two brothers, Robert (Julie) Bedilion of Parkersburg, WV and Jerry Bedilion of Marietta, Oh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Rosalind Bedilion Williams; and one brother, Joe Bedilion.
Family and Friends will gather for a memorial service at the Richland United Methodist Church, 60 Pomeroy Rd. Athens, Saturday November 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.. Refreshments will be served after the service in the church basement.
