Phyllis June McIntire

Phyllis June McIntire, 93, of Marietta, OH passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Harmar Place in Marietta. She was born on March 7, 1924 in Marietta, OH to the late Harley Benjamin and Myrtle Smith Williamson.

Phyllis was a member of the Norwood United Methodist Church and the American Legion #64 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, R. Darrell McIntire of Palm Springs, CA, Thomas H. McIntire of Marietta, OH; daughter, Susan Duvall (Tim) of Williamstown, WV; four grandchildren, Guy McIntire (Alicia), Shelley Slusser (Dennis), Lauren E. McIntire, Christopher Dickson and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. McIntire and a son, Philip W. McIntire.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel. 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH 45750 with Pastor Tony Foreman officiating. Burial to follow in Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 90 Mt. Tom Road, Marietta, OH 45750.
