He also enjoyed following the University of North Carolina men’s basketball team, often hosting North Carolina/Duke basketball watch parties with his sons and their friends. Dave also loved dogs, especially his ‘grand-dogs,’ Buddy, Bear, and Phoebe, along with Diesel from Alabama. Most of all, Dave was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and he will be greatly missed.
