William R. Bradley

William R. “Dick” Bradley, 77, of Marietta died July 5, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born September 17, 1941 in Cleveland, OH, to Corbett and Agnes Sprague Bradley.

Dick graduated from Warren High School in 1961. He retired from E. I. DuPont after 26 years of service. He was a member of Tunnel United Methodist Church. Dick was a lifetime member of the NRA and a holder of the Golden Eagle Freedom Award of the NRA. He was also a member of the Ohio Big Bucks Club.

His hobbies were hunting and fishing, making hunting knives, walking sticks, canes and wooden crosses.

Richard married Patricia Leach on December 23, 1960. He is survived by his wife of 58 and 1/2 years; his three daughters Barbara Bradley, Mary West (Bill) of Marietta and Elizabeth Bradley of Blacklick, OH; grandchildren Brad and Kellina West and their children Abby and Colton West and Alec Marshall of Vincent, OH, Michelle and Zac Carte and children Will and Danielle of Belpre; sister Betty Potts (Meredith) of Marietta; brother-in-law Tom Leach (Marilyn) of Waterford, Ruth Ankrom (George) of Vincent and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 10, 2019, 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home – Belpre, OH, with Dr. Lloyd Dennis and Pastor Richard Stuhmer officiating. Burial will follow at Tunnel Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 2-8 PM Tuesday.
