Celebrate responsibly with OSU, as they seek gridiron title
The upcoming New Year’s Day holiday is often adopted by all sorts of revelers as an excuse to go crazy to celebrate the coming of a new year.
We say go ahead and celebrate. Have a blast!
Just don’t get behind the wheel of a car or truck. Designate a non-drinking friend or relative to drive you home after the partying. That’s especially true this holiday with the Ohio State football Buckeyes in the semi-finals New Year’s Eve. Game time is 7 p.m. which means the game will end within minutes of the start of 2017.
You’re tempting fate if you’re celebrating, or heaven forbid crying in your beer, and go right to driving.
One thing for sure, you’ll be distracted behind the wheel and that’s a bad frame of mind.
So, we urge you to use your head, and keep your wits about you. No football game is worth the risk of injury or worse. Yes, even for fans of the beloved Buckeyes.
