Boy Scouts’ policy change amounts to bullying

In response to the “NBC Nightly News” recently where the Boy Scouts of America is considering changing its policy allowing, homosexuals in the scouting program as adults is appalling. Not only does the Scout oath say

On my honor I will do my best

To do my duty to God and my country

and to obey the Scout Law;

To help other people at all times;

To keep myself physically strong,

mentally awake, and morally straight.

It is a tried and true oath that has been followed by the Boy Scouts from its inception in America in 1911.

For a very long time now the gay rights people have been pushing forward in their agenda to make everyone in America accept the homosexual lifestyle. We who do not believe that’s an alternative life style is correct, good, or moral are being bullied to the extent that if we say anything against the homosexual we are considered a bigot. That is just not so.

We just don’t want the homosexual lifestyle shoved down our throats at every turn. It has gotten so bad that now the Boy Scouts are considering buckling under to the pressures and going against the Scout Oath.

In general I believe the Boy Scouts are being bullied to the point it is taking more resources to fight the homosexual battle. I feel they just want to get back to what is important to them which is the boys, and scouting. But in doing so they are letting down what Scouting stands for.

We hear on the news of the tragedies of bullying with girls and boys committing suicide because they are being bullied so much. Now I think that if the Boy Scouts let in homosexual leaders in any capacity they are letting the bullies win and commuting suicide.
