Thanks all around for a successful Throwdown

On April 27, the “Throwdown for the Pound 7” event was held. This was another awesome fundraiser for all that attended. For those who could not make it, you missed out again. But don’t worry, I believe we are on schedule again come October. This grand event, held for the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, brought in $4,726. There are enormously generous businesses and people I would like to thank so very much. First of all, the man that gears up for every one of these and has worked so hard to make it successful, Adam Johnson of We Luv Pets, and his two main guys, Joe Offenberger and Sam Smith. If it were not for you guys, these events would never have come to pass. People sometimes do not realize all the efforts that are put into a fundraiser. The time, patience and work are sometimes taken for granted. I would like to tell the Mid-Ohio Valley – please support him and We Luv Pets. Not only does he do this to help the shelter, but he also is kind enough to foster our animals in his store until they find their forever homes. He has also made some his new family members.

Special thanks to The Holiday Inn (Cindy) for housing our wrestlers during their stay. A very warm thank you from us goes to the Marietta Middle School, Mr. Hampton (principal of the Middle School) and the entire school district – without you guys we wouldn’t have a place for these shows.
