Pasta dinner benefit a big help for Secret Santa

The pasta dinner to benefit the Secret Santa Program was a great success. The money raised will be used to buy gifts for the children of the Secret Santa Program.

This event was successful thanks to many businesses that donated food and supplies for the country store. I would like to thank: Food Distributors, Warren’s IGA, Giant Eagle, Kroger, Sam’s Club, Shoney’s, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, RD Wilson Sons & Company and Barilla, Ketel 1, Putnam Chocolates, Rossi Pasta, Henson Communications, Tom and Margaret Webster, and Larry Schwendeman for their generous contribution.

A special thank you to the Unitarian Universalist Church for sponsoring the dinner for the sixth year. The church has long supported the Secret Santa Program. The members of the congregation have sponsored children in the program for many years. The pasta dinner is yet another way for the members of the congregation to support the program.

And last but not least I would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the dinner so successful including members of the MOV’ n Dragons, Tom Sherritts, George and Gwen Banziger and staff members of Washington-Morgan Community Action. And last but not least a big thanks to all those who attended.
