Sternwheel 5K benefits from wide support

The 4th annual Ohio River Sternwheel Festival 5K Run and Walk was held on May 25, 2013. The event was a huge success due to a tremendous number of run/walk participants, business sponsorships, and assistance from local businesses and other individuals.

We are extremely grateful to Sports Med and Marietta Memorial Health Systems for their participation,. We thank the 244 participants who entered the race and participated in the day’s events. This successful event helps to finance the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival, which is offered free to the public, and helps to promote and celebrate our community. We will be hosting the 5th annual 5K Run and Walk next year on May 24, 2014.
