Public support a key to MOVP’s success

On behalf of the Mid-Ohio Valley Players, I would like to thank all of the audience members who made our annual Junior Players production a success. Our theater was proud to host you for three sell-out performances of “The Music Man Jr,” and we thank you for your support and patronage. Your energy and enthusiasm for the Junior Players was noticeable to every parent, director, and volunteer who was present, and I cannot thank you enough for it.

On top of supporting our Junior Players program, many of you also participated in our fundraising drive to help us send our production of “A Piece of My Heart” to the OCTA State Festival and competition in September. Through the donations collected over the three “Music Man” performances, we raised nearly half of our total fundraising goal.

It is for that reason that I say “A Piece of My Heart” will not be going to competition to just represent the MOVP, but we will be representing the Mid-Ohio Valley as a whole.

Finally I want to say thank you to the parent volunteers. Your support and enthusiasm for our Junior Players are what made this show possible. It is my hope that you will continue to work with our theater and that we will be able to make every performance at the MOVP a success.
