Those on a fixed income burdened with taxes

Who does a recent letter writer think he is, almost demanding people to vote in a 29 percent levy? Wayne National Forest owns one-third of the school district property, which the government doesn’t pay taxes. The people that pay property taxes are senior citizens on fixed incomes. Most of them war veterans who came home to work and obtain some place they could live out their senior years. Most of their children had to leave the valley to find work. The ones here that have children in school work at minimum wage jobs, work hard to pay for food and clothing, gas and electric which is going up all the time. Most of them don’t have a car under 10 years old.
