Blockbuster ‘Noah’ isn’t the real Bible story

One of the things that I really enjoy is going to the movie theater, and I get really excited when there is a movie showing that is biblical. Today, my sister treated me to a birthday movie and I just couldn’t wait to see “Noah.”

Well, I’m sad to say that this movie was far from the Noah that I have read about in the 1st book of the Old Testament Genesis.I understand that movies need to add fillers, but this movie was no closer to being the truth than if I had built the ark myself. What a disappointment. If you are looking for a movie and you have read Genesis 6:1-Genesis 9:1-29 and know the truth, go see the movie … but I’m concerned about all of those movie-goers that will believe this story because they haven’t read the true story in the Bible. Yes, the true story is violent, but it’s the truth.

I don’t recommend young children for this movie, and if you choose to go see it, please take a half hour and read the story first – just don’t let anyone you know believe that the movie is the way it was so long ago.
