Right Path’s fish fry fundraiser a success

The Right Path for Washington County held our 6th annual fish fry/fundraiser at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Friday May 16. Up against several other annual community events, we held our own serving up a delicious dinner and providing live entertainment.

Veteran fish fryer Ronnie Davis and Lions club french fry fryer Bill Standish were our celebrity chefs. TRP member Karen Waller battered fish; Carl Waller, Miriam Keith, Shirley Holland called dinners, collected tickets, sold tickets; President Dee Standish was jack of all trades in the kitchen and Justin Moody and Stephanie Davis bussed tables. 50/50 ticket sales kept us hopping and winner Bob Springer donated his share back to The Right Path.

We were so fortunate to have the very talented Billy Reiter provide our entertainment, playing Neil Young and other classics throughout the evening. Find Billy on facebook and follow his summer venues. You will be a fan once you hear him sing.

Silent auction items provided “something for everyone” and helped ensure our event was another big success!
