Sleepy’s Kidney Fund appreciates the support
On June 28, a spaghetti dinner benefit was held for my husband, Brian Ketelsen, who is preparing for a kidney transplant. When asked, “How did your fundraiser go?” I can only answer, “I don’t think it could have gone any better!” We are truly blessed.
First of all, a huge thank you to the Elks Lodge No. 477, Carolyn Brown and Terry Karcher for the use of the lodge and all of your assistance. Thank you to Hyde Brothers Printing for printing the raffle tickets and flyers. A special thank you to the group of family and friends who helped plan, prepare and work the benefit, Sharon and Harry Karcher, Abby and Emily Ketelsen, Montell and Holly Hutchison, Randy, Julie and Janelle Williams, Erin and Brayden Meeks, Stacy, Mya and Bo Miller, Catherine Rees, Dwight and Vickie Ullman, Jimmy Farley, Carol and Phil Allen, Steve and Martha Denton, Pastor Wendy Erb and Beth Wheeler. Thank you to our church family at Sand Hill United Methodist Church in Reno for the donations of spaghetti sauce, noodles, salad dressing and desserts. A shout out to my friends at OMJ-Noble County for their donation of desserts. A sincere thank you to Gloria Farley who won the 50/50 drawing and donated her half back.
