Support of upcoming EVE auction encouraged

EVE, Incorporated is getting organized for its 32nd Annual Benefit Auction, which will be held on Friday, Aug. 22 at the Hotel Lafayette.

EVE, Incorporated is the service agency and shelter for survivors domestic of violence and their families in Washington and Noble Counties. Every year, EVE has a charity auction to raise money to support its operation.

One of our main tasks in preparation for the auction is to ask the community for donations of items to be auctioned off that evening.

Board members, staff, and volunteers are contacting businesses and individuals around the community for the donation of items. We always try to contact as many as possible but there may be some in the community that we have not reached. If you or your business are interested in donating an item for the auction, please feel free to contact the shelter at 374-5820.

All proceeds from the auction go directly to the services offered by EVE, Incorporated, including community education and prevention education. And they can multiply when they are used to match grants.

Make plans now to attend the auction.

Many thanks to the Marietta and Washington County community for their amazing support in the past.
