Glad GOP sticks to its views on spending

Again, knowing many can’t afford the use of, and the elderly who don’t use the newer social media technology and lean on supposedly truths from what is televised this is for you. They need to be aware that apparently various media news sites have been corrupted due to pandering, tampering and giving false information, or allegations in lieu with aiding their supported party’s candidate and are no longer trustworthy. Statements below were taken directly from a Democrat Party websites–links provided.

Hispanics vote 60%-75% Dem; naturalizing “imports Democrats.” In 1980, Hispanics made up 6.4% of our population; by 1990, 9%. Today, they form 14.4%. By 2050 the Hispanic population will constitute 24% of our national population. At 43 million, Hispanics outnumber black Americans by 6 million now, but are not so solidly Democratic. Bush lost African-Americans 11 to 1 in 2000. But he lost Hispanics by only 2 to 1 in 2000. In 1996, Clinton swept the Latino vote 70 to 21. Aware that immigrants can give the Democrats their own lock on the White House, Clinton’s men worked to naturalize them. In the year up to Sept. 30, 1996, the Immigration and Naturalization Service swore in 1,045,000 new Americans so quickly that 80,000 with criminal records–6,300 for serious offenses–became citizens. In every presidential election since 1984, Hispanics have voted Democratic by anywhere from 60% to 75%. The more Hispanic America becomes, the more Democratic America becomes.

Line in the sand: protect entitlements (but it needs reform). Democrats claim their line in the sand is protecting entitlement benefits for the poor and seniors. Convinced of the virtue of their goal, partisan Democrats rationalize their decision to dismiss, demagogue, and demonize anyone who proposes entitlement reform. This position, however, is entirely about protecting Democrats, not the poor or seniors. If entitlement programs are not reformed, they will collapse and bring our economy down with them. Republicans, meanwhile, say their line in the sand is “no tax increases.” I’m glad so many Republicans are talking tough about the problem being overspending, not under-taxation. I’ve been making that case since 1995. If these same Republicans, who continue to vote for more spending, had been as resolute since 1995, the problem would be much easier to solve. Every dollar of deficit spending Republicans backed — along with Democrats — was a deferred tax increase. Our present challenges prove that deficits do matter.
