Bertram has character to serve as judge

I am writing to show my support for Paul Bertram, who is running for judge of the Marietta Municipal Court. I have known Paul Bertram and his family for over 30 years. Bertram’s parents were honest, hard-working, respectable, family-oriented and truly cared for our community. Bertram has inherited these characteristics. Personally, Bertram has proven that he is loyal, dependable and a man of his word. Bertram (and his wife, Joyce) have helped me through some of the lowest times in my life. They were worried about me and what I was going through at the time. They never asked for anything in return. This is something that most people would not know about Paul, and I think it’s very important that this is known.

In my years working in the legal field, for years in the court system and for a private attorney, I have worked with Bertram on many occasions. I have found him to be professional at all times. Bertram has critical reasoning skills, decision making skills and listening skills that he will use as judge. Bertram also exhibits compassion, decisiveness, open-mindedness, sensitivity, courtesy, understanding, humility and common sense and will make impartial decisions. Because Bertram has these values, he is committed to doing the right thing and does not bend to impulses, urges or desires, but acts according to values and principles. These values make him the best choice for Judge. Bertram will be courteous to litigants, jurors, witnesses, lawyers and others with whom he will deal with in an official capacity. He will work to make our community a better place to live.

Bertram has experience as a prosecutor and lawyer in private practice. He is currently the city law director. With this experience, as judge of Municipal Court, he will be able to make positive changes to the court that will benefit everyone.

Please vote for Paul Bertram for Municipal Court Judge on Nov. 7. You won’t be disappointed.
