Classmate of Hall supports her as candidate
I am writing to voice my support for the nomination of Stacey Hall to the Marietta City school board. I have known Hall for over 40 years – we grew up together in Marietta and were classmates beginning in kindergarten and then again from seventh grade through graduation with the MHS Class of 1984.
In the time that I have known Hall, she has always been one to actively engage in civic activities both in school and out. Hall volunteered her time and talents abundantly throughout our high school years, helping to organize and implement class activities, fund raisers, and pep programs; always with a heart to engage and join people together in a spirit of comradery.
Hall has carried her passion for service into her professional life as well. This was exemplified with her commitment to teach elementary school in Marietta for over 20 years. She has influenced many generations with her educator skills and her dedication to positively influence young minds.
As a mother of two outstanding children who have shown excellence in education as well as extracurricular activities, it is evident her influence on them. They are demonstrable examples of her best work as an educator, as well as a parent.
I am confident that as a member of the school board, Hall will bring both her passion for service, her experience as an educator in the Marietta school system, and her experience as a parent to the forefront for the benefit and forward progress of the board’s mission.
