Join in the ‘race against hunger’ this Saturday

On Saturday, April 7, you can help your local food pantries and the Harvest of Hope, having the most fun of your life!

It’s easy! Just pick a theme, don a costume to reflect your theme, then head to the Belpre Kroger and decorate a shopping cart to match, as we bring the “energy” to Belpre this year!

So what are we talking about? The Right Path for Washington County’s very own “race against hunger” Righditarod #8.

Teams of 5 will push their cart through the Belpre Kroger store collecting items for our 13 local pantries and the Harvest of Hope while performing silly challenges, racking up points to win the challenges and building teamwork, all for a wonderful cause.

Belpre Wendy’s and Little Caesars are in it to win it, too! Belpre’s Kroger and Mayor Mike Lorentz are all in to make this our biggest event to date. We just need you to grab your team and help stock the shelves for our pantry partners.

The challenges are top secret, and sure to bring giggles to teams and judges. What are you waiting for? Registration forms are available on the Right Path for Washington County’s facebook page and IHeart Radio website.

This is the Right Path’s community service project and one that our youth love to be a part of!

Thanks to those that continue to make this event such a success; Washington County Behavioral Health Board, Juvenile Court, Belpre Kroger, Marietta Community Foundation, Dominion East Ohio, our returning teams, Amrine Awards, Wendy’s, Little Caesars, Brown Owl Imaging, Belpre Chamber, Mayor Mike Lorentz, City of Belpre, IHeart Media, WMOA, The Right Path Board, Marietta Rotary, Miriam Keith, Marietta Times, United Way, Gospel Mission. I am sure I have left out someone, so I apologize in advance. As you can see, it takes many hands to make our load lighter.

Thanks for your continued support of our community coalition. For questions or to get involved in our effort; 740-374-6990.
