Little Muskingum Grange says thanks for support
Little Muskingum Grange #2621 thanks the sponsors of their July Annual Pull. The grange, founded in 1867, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, fraternal organization that advocates for rural Americal and agriculture. The grange has a strong history in grassroots activism, family values and community service.
Community projects for the Little Muskingum Grange include maintenance of the historical German Lutheran Church at Sitka which is open each year for the Fall Foliage Tour and Christmas caroling. The grange held clean-ups on State Route 26, donated to the Little Muskingum Fire Dept., cooked and served the Salem Liberty Alumni Banquet, donated for fundraiser for the Salem Liberty School, helped serve food for Ewing’s Special Olympics members at 4-H Camp Hervida, mailed coupons to the military, donated label and box tops for education to a local school, collected pop tabs for supplies for the school for the deaf, collected empty medicin bottles for reuse in third world countries.
