Criticisms of Obama valid

I read a writer’s response to my last letter to the editor, and had to shake my head. I wonder if he even read my letter, or just automatically went into attack mode? I did not suggest that President Obama is to blame for the moral decline in America. No, that problem has been going on for quite some time, and is bigger than any one person could ever cause. As for me not stating any facts, I disagree, but if it’s facts he wants, then try these on for size.

Just since last month, the federal government has dumped hundreds (soon to be thousands) of illegal immigrants in various locations around the U.S. Even citizens in uber-liberal California got fed up and blocked an inbound bus from doing the same thing in their town. This is happening without the feds notifying the governors, mayors, and other officials of the local governments of these locations. This is a clear violation of our immigration laws.

Five muslim terrorists, some of the worst in the world, were exchanged for one U.S. soldier, who is alleged by his fellow soldiers to have been a deserter and enemy sympathizer. The media has been oddly silent since his return to U.S. custody. If it is true that Sgt. Bergdahl was a deserter, then President Obama is guilty of giving aid and comfort to our enemies. Our soldiers are still fighting the battle and these five terrorist masterminds are going to return to the battlefield to fight against them…..again. Even Obama acknowledged this likelihood.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled, 9-0, that Obama overstepped his authority by making recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board because a vote could have occurred in the Senate, in a reasonable period of time. 9-0…even the liberal justices couldn’t overlook that.

Obamacare, Executive Orders, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi….I could go on, but you get the idea. The problem is, when liberals don’t agree with you, they get nasty and start attacking you personally. The writer suggested that I sat around watching Fox News, and “got emotional.” Then told me to take a look in the mirror to see what is wrong with this country. Well, to the writer, I like what I see in the mirror just fine, and, unlike you, don’t need to attack people that I don’t agree with. Maybe if you and your friends over at the “coffee blog” would stick to drinking coffee instead of Kool-Aid, you’d be a lot better off.
