Hillary Clinton’s private email server damages national security, confidence

Why would Secretary of State Clinton set up an email server in her house to handle her emails while she was secretary of state? Having classified material in a non-secure area is a criminal offense and jeopardizes the security and lives of our service and intelligence community. Could it have been she didn’t want to have a record of with who she was communicating with or what they talked about? The public would not have known about the email server if four Americans had not died in Benghazi at the hands of terrorist.

The FBI conducted a several month investigation of the emails and FBI Director James B. Comey announced there “we are expressing to Justice our view that no charges are appropriate in this case.” Before making that statement he made many statements that contradicted what Hillary Clinton had stated publicly and that she testified to the Congressional investigation of the Benghazi hearings.

An example of FBI Director James B. Comey’s statements: “From the group of 30,000 emails returned to the State Department, 110 emails in 52 email chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was top secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained secret information at the time; and eight contained confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional emails were “up-classified” to make them confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.”

There will be much speculation as to the reason she was not prosecuted but the biggest tragedies are the potential effects of Hillary Clinton’s actions is on Americans security, the lives of our military and public officials. Then there is the further erosion of the confidence in our government.

Hillary Clinton’s biggest challenge during this interrogation by the FBI may have been to tell the truth since she has a past record of lying. Like she did to the relatives of the people killed in the Benghazi attack and the American public about the “video,” that she said was the cause of the attack. There should be no higher priority of our government than to support and protect the military and civilians we ask to serve our nation to protect our safety and interest.

Last week The Benghazi Report was released clearly showing that she was negligent in providing security for the ambassador and the staff despite several hundred requests. When she was campaigning against Barack Obama, she made the point best qualified to answer the phone in the White House by asking, “who is best qualified to answer the phone at 3 a.m.?” When she received that call saying that Benghazi was under attack, she spent most of the time talking about how to portray the video as the cause of the attack to deflect attention from her lack of competence. This video would protect the president from drawing attention to his failed military plan to protect America. It is just plain disgraceful conduct by a government official.

From the report … Select Committee on Benghazi Releases Proposed Report

1. “Despite President Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s clear orders to deploy military assets, nothing was sent to Benghazi, and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost 8 hours after the attacks began.” [pg. 141]

2. “With Ambassador Stevens missing, the White House convened a roughly two-hour meeting at 7:30 p.m., which resulted in action items focused on a YouTube video, and others containing the phrases “[i]f any deployment is made,” and “Libya must agree to any deployment,” and “[w]ill not deploy until order comes to go to either Tripoli or Benghazi.” [pg. 115]

3. “A Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) sat on a plane in Rota, Spain, for three hours, and changed in and out of their uniforms four times.” [pg. 154]

Was it just a chance that Bill Clinton ran into in to the Attorney General Lynch and met with her for 30 minutes and a few days later Hillary Clinton is interrogated for 3 1/2 hours?

Then a few days later there were no charges filed against Hillary Clinton, the a few hours later she is campaigning with the President. It has the same look as another Washington back room deal. It may be time to get some politicians that are honest and trustworthy.
