Milestones

Yes, it has been a while since I updated. Such is the life of a busy mommy. Time flies when you're having fun and when you're the parent of a toddler.

It seems like yesterday I was bringing my bouncing bundle home and now she is 3 years old! Makes me wish sometimes that a film crew could follow me around to capture for all eternity the moments that I have taken for granted.

The biggest and most recent milestones are two in which I take a great deal of pride - mostly because since becoming a parent, they are the things I dreaded most and, luckily, I haven't messed up too badly.

I can now claim that my child is almost totally out of diapers for good and this past weekend she officially moved into the "big girl" bed.

It really hasn't been as difficult as I had feared but it has been bittersweet, especially moving to the big bed. We get to cuddle when we read stories now but I have delayed packing up the crib. It might break my heart too much to let my baby go.
