Miranda Jolynn Hitchcock of Marietta and Jed Lucas Lessard of Marietta announce their Christmas engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Vickie Hitchcock of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Ruth Hitchcock and Joe and Dora Nowell of Marietta.
She is a 2007 graduate of Warren High School and a 2006 graduate of Washington State Community College. She is employed as a pharmacy technician at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ann Lessard of Marietta. He is the grandson of Hector and Annette Desjardins of Dover, N.H.
He is a 2004 graduate of Marietta High School. He is the owner of Ohio Valley Pest Control and is currently employed by The Inn at Marietta.
The couple will be married in August at the cabin of Dr. Rodney and Tamara Williams.
