VINCENT — There’s a definite charge to the track atmosphere at Ashland University.

Particularly when it comes to throwers where the Eagles boast a reputation of excellence with Olympians A.G. Kruger and Kibwe Johnson training on the campus.

Even head coach Jud Logan is a four-time Olympic athlete.

With all the prestige that accompanies the Ashland track program it’s easy to see why it’s such an attractive place for young athletes to pursue their academic and athletic future.

It’s also just the place where Warren standout Craig Call will continue his career, signing a letter of intent to throw discus and hammer for the Eagles during a special ceremony at Warren High School Monday afternoon.

“I fell in love with it as soon as I got there,” Call said of his motivation to attend Ashland.
